I’ve always loved a nightgown. Growing up, I had a few ruffled pastel nightgowns with bows and lace that I absolutely adored, and in college, my roommates and I would comb through the racks at thrift stores for vintage, nylon nightgowns to traipse around the house in.
I have quite the collection, but one of my faves is by The One for U. I found this nightgown last year, and it quickly became a staple in my wardrobe—as it’s easy to dress up and wear out of the house, but also perfect to lounge around in at home.
Fair warning: it’s pretty stiff at first, but will eventually wear itself in. Also, this dress runs large so you might want to size down (it’s offered in sizes XS-XXXL). In the pic above, I am wearing the XS (I usually wear a 6 or 8), I also have it in Small, which I prefer for maximum flowiness. The brand makes a lot of other nightgowns, but this is the one I’ve found that has the most potential to wear out of the house.
